SecureVision SA is a trading name of VAAL ICE (Pty) Ltd. The company is not currently VAT registered and will not represent any amount charged as VAT unless it becomes registered as a VAT vendor.
These Terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and other applicable South African law. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Products and compatibility
SecureVision SA supplies CCTV, surveillance, access-control, alarm, gate-automation, networking, smart-home, electrical and related equipment. Customers should check compatibility before ordering equipment intended to work with existing systems. Manufacturer specifications and appearance may change, and the model number and written specification take precedence over illustrative imagery.
Prices and orders
Prices are displayed in South African rand. Delivery charges and the total payable amount will be shown before checkout. Customers must have an opportunity to review and correct an order before submitting it. An automated order acknowledgement does not by itself constitute acceptance. A contract is formed when SecureVision SA accepts the order, including by expressly confirming acceptance, allocating stock, dispatching goods or confirming goods are ready for collection.
Availability and backorders
Some goods may be sourced from authorised distributors after an order is placed. Online display does not guarantee immediate stock. Where supplier confirmation is required, acceptance may be conditional on that confirmation. SecureVision SA will not substitute another product without the customer's agreement.
Delivery
Delivery is intended for South African addresses unless expressly agreed otherwise. Delivery times are estimates unless a fixed date is agreed. Where ECTA applies, SecureVision SA will comply with statutory performance and refund obligations.
Installation
Unless expressly stated, product prices do not include installation. Installation, programming, configuration, cabling, commissioning, electrical work, networking work and call-out charges are separate services and require an agreed quotation or order.
Security systems
Security equipment can reduce risk but cannot guarantee prevention of crime, loss, injury, fire, vandalism or unauthorised access. Performance may depend on power, networks, internet connectivity, cellular coverage, configuration, environmental conditions and third-party services. Customers are responsible for lawful use and placement of surveillance and recording equipment.
Warranties and returns
Manufacturer and distributor warranties may provide additional benefits but do not replace statutory consumer rights. Returns, cooling-off, defective goods and refunds are governed by the SecureVision SA Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy and applicable law.
Privacy and direct marketing
Personal information is handled under the SecureVision SA Privacy & POPIA Notice. Direct marketing will be conducted in accordance with POPIA, the CPA and applicable opt-out requirements.
Complaints and governing law
Customers may contact SecureVision SA at tsheposetene@gmail.com or 073 237 6924. Customers retain any right to approach the National Consumer Commission, Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, Information Regulator, a competent court or other relevant authority.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
